The vision behind building the industry’s leading location based services platform was based on two critical elements: the system needed to be able to monitor diverse mobile items including assets, vehicles and loved ones; and it needed to be flexible enough to accommodate the rapid changes occurring in wireless and location technologies.

The Contigo platform uses a patented method that allows for the monitoring of the operations and location of mobile items using multiple forms of location determining technology and wireless network infrastructure. This novel method is therefore "location and wireless technology agnostic," making it extremely robust and removing the constraints of systems that are dependent on a single location-based services platform.
